How to Help the GenZ Young People

Managing complex challenges

Health and Happiness in The Algarve

Last Update 4 months ago

Young people today, particularly our Gen Z generation, are navigating an increasingly complex world.

In my practice, whether in person , online or walking along the quiet coastal paths of the Algarve, I see many adolescents and young adults seeking support. They often bring deeply felt challenges to our sessions. Many are also exploring their neurodiversity, navigating ADHD, Dyslexia, or Autism with a desire for genuine self-understanding.

This generation does not want a clinical mask. Anxiety is the most common mental health problem experienced by our Gen Z . They thrive in a non-judgemental therapy space where they can unpack their worries and find their own feet. There is immense hope in how openly this generation speaks about mental health. They are pioneering a shift toward proactive wellbeing.

If your teenager is struggling with anxiety, studies, or fitting in, please know there is a safe space for them here.
